Modern Slavery
Capiteq is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships. We have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to ensuring that they have no place in our business or in any part of our supply chains.
Our business
Capiteq operates in private credit and real asset lending, working with investors, borrowers and partners across the United Kingdom. Our activities span private credit, factoring and receivables, real estate lending and specialty finance. The nature of our work means our supplier relationships are concentrated in professional and financial services rather than in high risk goods or labour markets.
Our supply chains
Our supply chains primarily consist of professional advisers, financial and banking services, technology providers and office services. We assess the risk of modern slavery across these relationships as low, but we recognise that risk can never be ruled out entirely, and we remain alert to it.
Our policies
We maintain policies that reflect our commitment to acting ethically and lawfully in all of our relationships. These set the standards we expect of our people and of those we work with, and they support our zero tolerance position on modern slavery and human trafficking.
Due diligence
As part of our approach to identifying and managing risk, we take reasonable steps to:
- Consider modern slavery risk when assessing new suppliers and partners
- Expect those we work with to uphold standards consistent with our own
- Keep our relationships under review and act where concerns arise
Training and awareness
We seek to ensure that our people understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, how to recognise the signs and how to raise a concern. Any concern can be reported in confidence, and we will treat it seriously.
Approval
This statement reflects our commitment for the financial year ending 31 July 2026 and has been approved by the board of Capiteq.
